Our Why

Titan Flood was created by insurance experts, technology wizards and data scientists skilled in AI driven risk assessment. What does this mean for our customers? It gives you the gift of time and a great price on flood insurance. A long time ago (2024) on a desk far away, it would take hours of time to answer questions about a home, only to hurry up and wait for the insurance company to evaluate the true flooding risk of your house and determine a fair price for coverage.

Titan Flood built an AI enabled algorithm translating that high level, time consuming assessment into a mathematical code. This equation of variables and weights means the computer is thinking for us and can simultaneously produce thousands of competitive prices in seconds. The response is far faster and more accurate than getting flood insurance “the way it’s always been done”.

Our team of insurance experts, tech wizards and data scientists are revolutionizing the world of flood risk assessment. Deploying sophisticated predictive modeling, we’re expanding access to flood insurance across America. Our mission is to help build more resilient communities that can thrive for generations to come.

Stephanie Lee
Founder & CEO

With 3 decades in property and casualty insurance, Stephanie has spent the last 13 years in executive roles for both private flood insurance and homeowners/WYO companies. In 2016, she helped develop the business model and launch strategy for Neptune Flood. As COO, she led the company from pre-market startup to an established, rapidly growing insurtech in the national private flood market. Stephanie is an entrepreneurial, intellectually agile executive with a 30-year track record of achievements in market entry, pricing, distribution, strategic partnerships, technology platforms, user experience, customer experience, branding, and process optimization for companies ranging from startups to Fortune 50 insurers. Beginning her insurance career in 1995 at AIG Europe, a global market leader with nearly $50 billion in revenue, she has become widely recognized as an innovative business leader who builds large-scale, multi-channel, profitable insurance portfolios with a customer-centric approach.

Chris Black
Chief Operating Officer

Chris Black serves as Chief Operating Officer of Titan Flood, where he leads distribution strategy, partner growth, and operational execution nationwide.
Chris brings nearly two decades of experience across insurance brokerage, underwriting technology, and insurtech operations. He began his career by founding and scaling an independent insurance agency from the ground up before completing a strategic sale to a publicly traded company, an experience that continues to define his operator first approach and his genuine appreciation for the independent agent.
Most recently, Chris served as Chief Operating Officer at Ask Fetch, a residential property insurance technology platform, where he helped build and scale a dual-sided underwriting and distribution marketplace. In that role, he worked closely with carriers, MGAs, and agency networks to modernize quoting workflows, streamline underwriting decisions, and improve placement efficiency in Florida’s challenging property insurance market.
Throughout his career, Chris has developed deep expertise in catastrophe-exposed markets, distribution strategy, and the intersection of technology and underwriting. He is recognized for building high-performing teams, aligning carrier and agent incentives, and translating market complexity into scalable, practical solutions.
At Titan Flood, Chris is focused on expanding access to private flood insurance, strengthening
agent partnerships, and scaling operations to support long term, sustainable growth. He is
passionate about the role private flood plays in closing the nation’s coverage gap and delivering more resilient protection for homeowners across the country.
Chris and his family reside in Tampa, Florida and Park City, Utah and he is actively involved in industry leadership and mentorship.
